Vancouver Real Estate - September Update


According to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, consistent increases in property listings and fewer home sales over the summer months have helped move the Greater Vancouver real estate market into the upper end of a  BUYERS MARKET.  Increased competition amongst home sellers are providing more options & more properties to choose from and more time to make decisions compared to the spring market, according to Rosario Setticasi, REBGV president.

Vancouver Real Estate - August Update


According to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, Home sales during the summer are trending towards a BUYERS MARKET as the sales-to-actives listing ratio of 15% is the borderling between BALANCED & BUYERS market conditions.

 
Residential property listings of detached, attached and apartment properties in Greater Vancouver reached 4,685 in Auguest 2011, a 24.9% increase compared to the 3,750 properties listed in August 2010 and a 8% decline compared to the 5,097 new listings in July 2011
.  Worth noting that the new listing total was the highest volume recorded for August in 16 years!  (Watch this video below for a quick overview.)
